Section 704.411 - Cosigners and guarantors1. A cosigner or guarantor must be a customer of the utility providing service to the customer for whom the cosigner or guarantor is acting.2. The liability of a: (a) Cosigner ceases after the customer has made 12 consecutive timely monthly payments to the utility.(b) Guarantor is limited to the amount of the deposit owed by the customer and ceases after the date the deposit is required to be returned to the customer pursuant to NAC 704.4105.3. A cosigner or guarantor who is required to make any payment for a customer may pay the amount owed within a period of not more than 3 months.Nev. Admin. Code § 704.411
