Section 641A.665 - Preparation of decision

After the Board determines that an issue concerning the applicability of a provision of a statute, regulation or decision should be addressed, the President or other presiding officer shall assign one member of the Board to write the order or opinion. Within 30 days thereafter, the member so assigned shall:

1. Review comments by all members of the Board on the issue;

2. Research the issue and, if necessary, seek the assistance of the Attorney General; and

3. Submit a draft of the order or opinion to the Board for its approval.
