Section 639.Sec. 3.8 - NEW

A pharmacist, pharmaceutical technician or dispensing practitioner who is engaged in the compounding of drug products in this State shall:

1. Comply with the provisions of NAC 639.661 to 639.690, inclusive, and sections 2 to 5, inclusive, concerning the drug products he or she compounds and the compounded drug products he or she dispenses;

2. Except as otherwise provided in sections 4 and 5, comply with the compounding standards established in the publications and standards adopted by reference in subsection 1 of NAC 639.670; and

3. Comply with all the requirements of 21 U.S.C. § 353a, as applicable.
