Section 639.6931 - "Assistive equipment" defined

"Assistive equipment" means a medical product intended to aid a consumer in the performance of one or more bodily activities. The term includes, without limitation, a customized orthotic or prosthetic device, and a wheelchair, walker or other similar device. The term does not include respiratory equipment.
