Section 618.496 - "Designated safety officer" defined"Designated safety officer" means any person who:
1. Is capable of identifying: (a) The existing and predictable hazards in the areas surrounding a construction project; or(b) Those working conditions at a construction project that are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees; and2. Has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate those hazards.Nev. Admin. Code § 618.496
