Section 488.320 - Inspection of motorboat upon transfer or sale1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, any vessel for which a certificate of ownership is required under the Nevada Boat Act must be inspected by the Department or a person designated by the Department when the vessel is transferred or sold.2. A vessel need not be inspected if the Department is certain that the description of the vessel is correct, after reviewing any documents submitted by the owner.3. Upon transfer or sale of the vessel, the registered owner shall verify the hull number displayed on the vessel and endorse the statement required by paragraph (i) of subsection 3 of NAC 488.100.Nev.
