Section 459.8295 - Determination of concentration of radionuclide1. The concentration of a radionuclide may be determined by an indirect method such as the use of a scaling factor which relates the inferred concentration of one radionuclide to the concentration of another that is measured, or by radionuclide material accountability, if there is a reasonable assurance that the indirect method can be correlated with actual measurements.2. The concentration of a radionuclide may be averaged over the volume of the waste, or over the weight of the waste if the concentration is expressed as nanocuries per gram.Nev. Admin. Code § 459.8295
