Section 446.935 - Protection from contamination; construction and maintenance of surfaces1. The operator of a food establishment must make reasonable efforts to ensure that insects, rodents and other sources of contamination do not affect a barbecue or its operations.2. A barbecue may not be used during a dust storm, flood, infestation of insects or vermin or under any other circumstances where the protection of food cannot be ensured.3. Surfaces which may come into contact with food, utensils and equipment used in the operation of a barbecue must be made of nontoxic materials and constructed and maintained in such a manner that they are easy to clean and keep in good repair.Nev.
