Section 445B.760 - "Snap-idle cycle" defined

"Snap-idle cycle" means rapidly depressing the accelerator pedal from normal idle to the position at which the delivery of fuel to the engine is at maximum flow, holding the pedal in this position for no longer than 10 seconds or until the engine reaches maximum revolutions per minute, and then releasing the pedal to allow the engine to decelerate to its normal idle.
