Section 445A.299 - Zone of passage

Stream-mixing zones in which the standards for water quality may be exceeded must be designed to ensure that a zone of passage is maintained. The allowable stream-mixing zone must be oriented in the stream in a manner which permits the greatest effectiveness of the zone of passage.
