Nev. Admin. Code § 408.816
If, as a result of fire, accident or similar occurrence, a qualified business becomes inoperable for a period of time which exceeds 7 days but is not more than 90 days, its business sign must be temporarily removed from all panels. The business is not required to reapply before the normal time for application for renewal. The Traffic Engineer may grant an extension for good cause, as shown by the responsible operator, but the failure of the responsible operator to proceed with the necessary repair of the qualified business as rapidly as possible may jeopardize the continued placement of the business sign on a panel and the Traffic Engineer may require the responsible operator to submit a new application.
