Section 385B.488 - Rules of conduct; 10-run rule; period for junior varsity games1. Each softball game must be conducted in accordance with the rules of softball adopted by the National Federation of State High School Associations or its successor organization.2. The 10-run rule set forth in the rules of softball specified in subsection 1 applies upon the completion of four and one-half innings of each softball game.3. A team that participates in a softball game as a sanctioned sport at the level of junior varsity may not begin a new inning of the game after the expiration of 2 hours after the first pitch of the game unless the game is tied.Nev.
