Section 291-1-006 - COMMISSION INVESTIGATIONS:006.01General: The Commission may, at any time on its own motion, conduct an investigation or order any hearing which the Commission is authorized by law or inherent power to conduct.006.02Order to Appear: The Commission may, by order, compel any person to appear in an investigative proceeding. The order will state the purpose or scope of the investigation and the time and place of the hearing.006.03Investigations/Penalty: If it appears, as the result of an investigative hearing by the Commission, that any person who has been personally served has violated the provisions of any statute over which the Commission has jurisdiction or the rules of the Commission, the Commission may order such person to cease and desist or enter any order justified in the premises.291 Neb.
