In retaining the services of a public auctioneer for the sale at auction of any lands purchased in whole or in part with these funds, the Department shall select a public auctioneer, for the services of such public auctioneer, and over-see the contracting of said auctioneer with the local organization. Selection of the auctioneer shall be the responsibility of the Director of the Department. Fees associated with the appraisal, auctioneer, advertising and notice, and any other fees associated with the sale, provided they are approved by the Department in advance, are eligible for reimbursement from the sale proceeds prior to the disbursement split between the Department and the local organization.
