Section 83-12-002 - Grievance Procedure The facility shall have a written grievance procedure which includes the following provisions:
002.01 Any juvenile shall have the right to report and file a grievance;002.02 The facility administrator or his/her designee shall promptly investigate, make a written report and respond to all grievances, providing reasons for the decisions. Responses to grievances shall be within a prescribed, reasonable time period, with special provisions for responding to emergencies;002.03 Juveniles reporting a grievance shall not be subject to reprisal;002.04 Juveniles shall be provided at least one level of appeal; and002.05 Notation of any grievances filed shall be made in the shift log and/or in the juveniles' individual record.83 Neb.
