The facility shall employ or retain under contract at least one (1) full-time or part-time medical professional, such as a nurse, physician's assistant, or emergency medical technician. In lieu of medical personnel, the facility administrator may designate employees who have received training to carry out specific duties to coordinate the delivery of health care services. The designated employees shall carry out their duties under the joint supervision of the facility administrator and the facility physician.
