002.01APPROVED ACUPUNCTURE EXAMINATION. National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Acupuncture Comprehensive Written Examination, which is a comprehensive written examination including acupuncture theory, diagnosis and treatment technique, and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Point Location Examination.002.02BOARD APPROVED SCHOOL. A formal, full-time acupuncture program at a university, college or school of acupuncture which includes at least 1,725 hours of entry-level acupuncture education consisting of a minimum of 1,000 didactic and 500 clinical hours, and is accredited or a candidate for accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, or is accredited by another accrediting body that is recognized as such by the United States Secretary of Education.002.03APPROVED CLEAN NEEDLE TECHNIQUE COURSE.
