To obtain a license, an individual must submit a complete application provided by the Department and provide documentation demonstrating that the applicant meets the licensing requirements of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 38-2426, 172 NAC 10, and this chapter.
004.01LICENSE REQUIREMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION. Applicants must submit. 004.01(A)EXPERIENCE. Documentation verifying at least 4 years of experience working with persons with head injuries or severe physical disabilities, and at least 2 years must be spent in an administrative capacity. The documentation must include. (i) A brief description of the experience received working with persons with head injuries or severe physical disabilities and experience in an administrative capacity;(ii) Name of facility or institution in which experience was completed; and(iii) Duration of Experience.004.01(B)LICENSE, CERTIFICATE, EDUCATION, OR ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE. In addition to meeting the requirements of (i) A current license as a psychologist, physician, mental health practitioner,independent mental health practitioner, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech pathologist;(ii) A current certificate as a social worker or master social worker;(iii) An educator with at least a master's degree in education from an accredited college or university. An official transcript must be submitted as verification;(iv) An administrator or executive of a health care facility as defined in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 71 -413 who is a member in good standing with an organization that offers voluntary certification for the purpose of demonstrating managerial knowledge and experience for health care managers; or(v) Have at least 8 years of experience working with persons with head injuries or severe physical disabilities, at least 5 spent in an administrative capacity in a facility operated primarily for caring for persons with head injuries or severe physical disabilities.172 Neb.
