The following regulations are prescribed by the Game and Parks Commission, State of Nebraska in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 37-1301 through 37-1310. For purposes of these regulations, unless context otherwise requires, the definitions found in 28-1201 and 37-1302 are used unless context otherwise requires. These regulations are effective following enactment by the Commission, approval by the Attorney General and Governor, and when five days have elapsed since filing with the Secretary of State.
001.01 Shooting Range Performance Standards001.01A As provided in 37-13 02, Shooting range performance standards for Nebraska shall mean those published in the revised edition of the National Rifle Association's Range Source Book titled "A Guide to Planning and Construction" as such book existed on January 1, 2 009. A copy of said manual is available for inspection by the public at the headquarters of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission as the size of said manual is in excess of 50 pages.001.01B Shooting Range Performance Standards shall be reviewed by the Commission at least once every five years as necessary for the continued safe operation of shooting ranges in Nebraska. Amendments, revisions and up dates to the revised edition of the National Rifle Association's Range Source Book titled "A Guide to Planning and Construction" shall become effective upon adoption by the National Rifle Association and when provided to the commission.163 Neb.
