The local board may select a chairperson and such other officers as the local board may deem necessary. The term of the officers shall be one year and no officer shall serve for more than two consecutive terms in the same office. Election of local board chairpersons shall be at the first meeting in July. Any local board not meeting in July, shall elect a chairperson at the previously scheduled meeting.
