Any person who claims to have been aggrieved personally by an unlawful act may file a complaint with the Commission. Said complaint may be filed by the aggrieved party, or a complaint may be filed by a legal guardian or an individual with a power of attorney on behalf of another person who claims to be personally aggrieved by an unlawful act. The Commission may investigate housing practices to determine whether a complaint should be filed and may file a complaint on its own initiative.
