These standards, except water quality criteria associated with aesthetics (Chapter 4, 005), will not apply to effluents and non-contact cooling water discharges, although these standards are used in deriving effluent limitations pursuant to Title 119 - Rules and Regulations Pertaining to the Issuance of Permits Under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System.
