The following provisions apply to paid and unpaid leave:
001.01Unauthorized Leave. An absence by an employee which does not meet the requirements specified in this Chapter and is not authorized by the employee's supervisor will be considered as unauthorized leave. Unauthorized leave may be grounds for corrective or disciplinary action under the provisions of Chapter 13 of this Title.001.02Authorized Leave. An absence by an employee which meets the requirements specified in this Chapter and that is authorized by the employee's supervisor will be considered as authorized leave.93 Neb. Admin.
