Section 68-6-010 - Loss of Good TimeInstitutional disciplinary committees may impose the following penalties for violations of the Code of Offenses if the committee finds the violations to be serious or flagrant. Flagrant or serious misconduct shall include:
(1) Major disruption to the operation of the institution;(2) Threats to the safety or security of the institution, public visitors, staff and/or other inmates; (4) Substantial destruction of property;(5) Escape or attempted escape; or(6) Repeated violations of the same offense in the past 12 months.0010.01 Class I offenses (those preceded by a Roman Numeral I in the Code of Offenses). 0010.01A Loss of good time not exceeding 180 days for violations not involving assault or injury to a person. Loss of good time not exceeding 730 days for violations involving assault or injury to a person. The Disciplinary Committee may designate loss of good time involving assault or injury to a person as non-restorable.0010.02 Class II offenses (those preceded by a Roman Numeral II in the Code of Offenses). 0010.02A Loss of good time not exceeding 90 days.0010.03 Class III offenses (those preceded by a Roman Numeral III in the Code of Offenses). 0010.03A Loss of good time not exceeding 60 days. The maximum sanction involving loss of good time shall not exceed 180 days for all charges arising out of one incident except for violations involving assault or injury to a person.
