Section 49-6-012 - NEGOTIATED RULEMAKING COMMITTEE; EXPENSES

Members of a negotiated rulemaking committee shall be responsible for their own expenses of participation. However, the Department may pay for a negotiated rulemaking committee member's actual and necessary expenses incurred in serving on the negotiated rulemaking committee as provided in Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 81-1174 through 81-1177 and a reasonable per diem rate of compensation if:

012.01 The negotiated rulemaking committee member certifies a lack of adequate financial resources to participate on the negotiated rulemaking committee using Form 49-6 -6 which is attached to these regulations and incorporated herein by reference.

012.02 The Department determines that the negotiated rulemaking committee member's participation is necessary to assure an adequate representation of the interests of the members.
