Agencies engaged in the operation of a hospital or an institution primarily engaged in the care of the sick, aged, mentally ill or developmentally disabled residents housed at state facilities may establish a period of eight hours per day and 80 hours per 14 consecutive calendar days for the purpose of determining overtime compensation (rather than the 40-hour-per-week standard).
