Rule 42.12.131 - APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSES AVAILABLE IN QUOTA AREAS, AND APPLICATION PROCESSING TIMES(1) When the department is not required to conduct a competitive bidding process for an available license in a quota area, applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.(2) As set forth in 16-4-420, MCA, the department must grant or deny a completed restaurant beer and wine license application within four months of receipt of the application. However, if the department's investigation into the application uncovers the necessity to analyze additional information not previously provided by the applicant, the four-month time period stops until the information is provided.Mont.
