Rule 37.104.810 - RECOMMENDED MEDICAL PRECAUTIONS AND TREATMENT(1) At a minimum, a health care facility that notifies the designated officer of the emergency services provider who attended a patient prior to or during transport or who transported a patient who has been diagnosed as having one of the infectious diseases listed in ARM 37.104.801 must recommend that the exposed emergency services provider take the medical precautions and treatment: (a) specified in "The Control of Communicable Diseases Manual", published by the American Public Health Association, 16th Edition, 1995; and(b) other additional medical precautions and treatment recommended by the health care facility.(2) The designated officer must then forward these recommendations to the emergency medical services provider(s) who was/were exposed.(3) The department hereby adopts and incorporates by reference "The Control of Communicable Diseases Manual", published by the American Public Health Association, 16th Edition, 1995, which lists and specifies control measures for communicable diseases.
