Rule 23.3.113 - AGE STANDARDSThe age standards for drivers are:
(1) Operator: Minimum age 16 years except as provided in sections 61-5-105(1), 61-5-106, and 61-5-111(4) MCA. Applicants under 18 years of age must have signature of parents, husband, or wife over 18 years of age, guardian, or employer except as provided in section 61-5-108 MCA.(2) Chauffeur, including motor bus driver (common carriers) operating under a permit issued by the railroad and public service commission, school bus driver, taxi-cab driver, and private chauffeur: Minimum age 18 years.Eff. 12/31/72; AMD, Eff. 12/5/76.Sec. 44-1-103, MCA; IMP, Sec. 61-5-101 et seq.
