Rule 20.27.242 - FACILITY SECURITY THREATS, ESCAPES(1) The facility must have written plans that specify procedures to be followed in situations that threaten facility security. Such situations include but are not limited to riots, hunger strikes, disturbances, escapes, and taking of hostages. These plans must be made available to all applicable personnel and reviewed annually and updated as needed.(2) The facility must have on file written mutual aid agreements with the cooperating agencies in its area.(3) The facility must have written policy, procedure and practice to ensure that pedestrians and vehicles leave and enter the facility at designated points in the perimeter.(4) The facility's perimeter must be controlled by appropriate means to:(a) provide that inmates remain within the perimeter; and(b) prevent access by the general public without proper authorization.Mont.
