Section 20 CSR 2145-2.070 - Geologist-Registrant In-TrainingPURPOSE: This rule establishes the requirements for a geologist-registrant in-training.
(1) Any person engaged in post-baccalaureate experience in the practice of geology as defined in section 256.453(7), RSMo, may apply for geologist-registrant in-training by obtaining an application from the board. (A) The applicant shall meet the educational requirements as defined in 20 CSR 2145-2.020; and(B) The applicant shall have passed the Fundamentals of Geology portion of the National Geologist Examination as developed by the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG[TM]) or its successor.(2) The applicant will be informed by letter regarding the results of the board review.(3) Once approved by the board, during the period of post-baccalaureate experience the applicant shall identify him/herself as a geologist-registrant in-training.(4) A geologist-registrant in-training shall comply with all laws and rules relating to the practice of geology.
