Section 19 CSR 30-70.370 - Requirements for a Training Provider of a Project Designer Training CoursePURPOSE: This rule delineates the curriculum requirements for a project designer training course.
(1) A training provider of a project designer training course must ensure that their project designer training course curriculum includes, at a minimum, eight (8) training hours of classroom training.(2) A project designer training course shall include, at a minimum, the following course topics: (A) Role and responsibilities of a project designer;(B) Development and implementation of an occupant protection plan for large-scale abatement projects;(C) Lead abatement and lead hazard reduction methods, including prohibited practices, for large-scale abatement projects;(D) Interior dust abatement/cleanup or lead hazard control and reduction methods for large-scale abatement projects;(E) Soil and exterior dust abatement methods for large-scale abatement projects;(F) Clearance standards and testing for large-scale abatement projects; and(G) Integration of lead abatement methods with modernization and rehabilitation projects for large-scale abatement projects.
