Section 19 CSR 20-10.170 - Special Requirements for Photofluorographic InstallationsPURPOSE: This rule establishes special requirements for photofluorographic installations.
(1) A collimator shall restrict the useful beam to the area of the fluorographic screen.(2) The exposure switch shall be so arranged that it cannot be conveniently operated outside a shielded area. Exposure switches for spot film devices used in conjunction with fluoroscopic tables are exempted from this requirement.(3) A device shall be provided to terminate the exposure after a preset time or exposure.(4) Output of the photofluorographic installation shall not exceed one (1) roentgen per exposure at the panel.
