Section 19 CSR 20-1.042 - Acidified Foods

PURPOSE: This rule establishes standards to assure the facilities, methods, practices, and controls used to manufacture, process, and package acidified foods are safe and conducted under sanitary conditions.

(1) Applicability. The requirements of this rule apply to any person engaged in or connected with manufacturing, processing, and/or packaging of acidified foods.
(2) Standards. Any person engaged in the manufacturing, processing, and/or packaging of acidified foods shall operate in accordance with 21 CFR Part 114 Acidified Foods, revised as of April 1, 2012, hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this rule as published by the U.S. Government Printing Office, 732 North Capitol Street N W, Washington, DC 20401-0001, (202) 512-1800, http://bookstore.gpo.gov. This rule does not incorporate any subsequent amendments or additions.
