Section 9-7-3-3.15 - CLASSROOM FACILITIES3.15.1Academic Classes3.15.1.1Classroom sizeRegular classrooms shall contain a minimum of 600 square feet of floor space or a minimum of 20 square feet per student enrolled, whichever is greatest.
3.15.1.2Classroom EquipmentEvery classroom shall provide appropriate equipment for students and instructors to include, but not limited to:
A. Individual student seats and desks or tables and chairs chosen for comfortC. Filing and storage facilitiesD. Sufficient chalkboard, whiteboard, tack board, or equivalentE. Window coverings to improve visual comfort and energy efficiencyF. Adequate laboratory facilities, equipment, and supplies for courses offered3.15.2Technical and Apprenticeship Trades3.15.2.1Classroom SizeThe minimum size of the classroom shall be 600 square feet and be equipped to provide the greatest possible learning experience.
3.15.2.2Classroom EquipmentEvery classroom shall provide appropriate equipment for students and instructors to include, but not limited to:
A. Individual student seats and desks or tables and chairs chosen for comfortC. Filing and storage facilitiesD. Sufficient chalkboard, whiteboard, tack board, or equivalentE. Window coverings to improve visual comfort and energy efficiencyF. Adequate laboratory facilities, equipment, and supplies for courses offered3.15.2.3Workshop/Laboratory SizeFacilities used for practical instruction shall meet the size standards prescribed for each discipline by the Office of Vocational and Technical Education of the State Department of Education.
3.15.2.4Workshop/Laboratory EquipmentEquipment shall meet or exceed the minimum standard equipment list that is prescribed for each discipline by the Office of Vocational and Technical Education of the State Department of Education.
