Rule 6-9-1.11 - Premier Site Grant Program Process and Selection CriteriaFunds will be used to support the development of sites in areas of high demand or with other attributes that make them particularly differentiated and competitive. MDA will invest more in these sites and, as a result, will take measured steps to ensure a higher likelihood of a return on investment when making funding decisions, as compared to the Ready Site program.
A. MDA will only consider approving grant funds in support of sites that meet the desired development criteria of their potential market(s) and have additional differentiating or distinguishing site location attributes, such as being located in a high-demand area, having large-scale "mega" acreage for development and/or significant utility infrastructure in place, and offering intermodal and/or port or airport access.B. MDA will provide grants to Local Partners on a reimbursable basis so they may perform due diligence/site development improvements and make other allowable improvements, as determined by MDA, which are required to address the development needs of the site.Miss.
