Rule 6-3-4.5 - Energy Savings or Shared Savings Contracts Any state agency or local governing authority (entity), as defined in Section 31-7-1 subparagraphs (a) and (b) respectively of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended, may contract on a shared savings or energy saving performance contract basis for:
(i) energy efficiency equipment; (i) services relating to the installation, operation or maintenance of equipment; (ii) improvements reasonably required to existing or new equipment and existing or new improvements and facilities; and (iii) alternative fuel motor vehicles including vehicles that have been converted to such and ancillary equipment related to or associated with the fueling of alternative fuel motor vehicles.
