The Mississippi Ports Improvements Grant Program ("PORTS Program"), administered by the Mississippi Development MDA ("MDA") is designed to assist in paying a portion of the costs associated with the repair, rehabilitation, construction, reconstruction, upgrading and improvement of existing port facilities, including projects necessary to ensure safety and structural integrity of such facilities, at state, county, or municipal port authorities ("Entity") in the state of Mississippi (the "State"). The PORTS Program was enacted by the State Legislature during the 2019 Regular Legislative Session.
