The permit fee for outdoor advertising shall be eighty-five dollars ($85.00) per sign location and must be submitted along with completed Form MND-800, Application for Permit to Erect Outdoor Advertising Sign. A side by side, back to back, or V-type, structure shall be considered as one (1) sign in payment of fees. If the permitted sign structure is not erected in the allowed 12-month period, see Section 500. The permit fee covers the expenses incurred by MDOT in processing the application and is, therefore, nonrefundable.
