MDOT recognizes the most recent version of the provisions of Sections 65-1-701 through 65-1-711 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended as the basis for developing and implementing the Public Transportation provisions of the Multi-Modal Transportation Improvement Program (MMTIP). Based on the availability of funds the MDOT, through the Public Transit Multi-modal Fund Committee (PTMMFC) and the Public Transit Division will review and make awards by way of a competitive application process, except where otherwise indicated by statue.
