Rule 32-101-1.3 - Duties of the BoardA. To serve as the governing body for MIB by establishing and implementing a mission statement for MIBB. To employ an Executive Director who shall serve as the executive and administrative head of MIB and to set said Executive Director's salaryC. To make and publish policies, rules and regulations as may be necessary for the effective administration and operation of MIB not inconsistent with the terms of Miss. Code Ann. 43-3-103 et seq. and the Federal rules and regulations and the laws of the state of Mississippi and the United States of AmericaD. To adopt and publish rules and regulations, in it's discretion, to establish a policy of sick leave with pay and personal leave with pay for MIB employees and to require that MIB offices be open and staffed on legal holidays as determined necessary by the Board of DirectorsF. To annually elect officersG. To act as advocate for MIBH. To annually review all physical facilities of MIBI. To annually review the financial status of MIB including all contracts and the profits therefromJ. To annually review the personnel manual of MIB32 Miss. Code. R. 101-1.3
