Section 32-10-5-5.1 - Assessment For Determining Eligibility And Priority For ServicesThe assessment to determine eligibility for services is based on, as appropriate in each case:
1. A review of existing data to determine eligibility and assign an appropriate priority category for an order of selection;2. To the extent necessary, the provision of appropriate assessment activities to obtain necessary additional data to make such determination and assignment, or3. To the extent additional data is necessary to make a determination of the employment outcomes, and the objectives, nature, and scope of VR services, to be included in the IPE of an eligible individual, a comprehensive assessment determines the unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, career interests, and informed choice, including the need for supported employment, of the eligible individuals.32 Miss.
