Each year, the MSOR generates a list of all registered offenders residing in each county and forwards it to each sheriff in the state. The sheriff is responsible for comparing the MSOR-generated list with the information maintained at the county level to ensure the information is current, accurate and in agreement at both levels. The sheriff must notify the Center of any discrepancies or changes in Registry information
