Rule 30-301-1.2 - PermitsA. The promoter shall apply for the event permit in writing at least 50 days prior to the scheduled event. Live television events shall be excluded.B. A promoter shall not give publicity to an event until the permit has been approved.C. Each permit shall name possible contestants, the number of fights, the number of rounds and the date, place and time of contest along with a seating diagram with ticket prices in each seating section. The Commission, at its discretion, may allow the seating chart to be filed ten (10) days prior to the event.D. The permit shall note any celebrity guest that will be advertised as part of the promotion.E. A permit may be denied if the Commission believes that one promotion will interfere with another on any given day.F. The Commission must approve all changes and substitutions.G. All permit applications are to be mailed, faxed, emailed, or hand delivered to the Commission with all fees.H. A deposit or surety bond may be required by the promoter for permit approval and is conditional upon the faithful performance of the payment for Commission fees, official's fees, contracts with licensees, and fines of the Commission.30 Miss.
