Rule 30-1001-7.3 - Substantially Equivalent Requirements

To satisfy the substantially equivalent requirement of Miss. Code Ann. § 73-36-31, a reciprocal applicant must have graduated with a bachelor's degree or higher degree from a university or college of forestry accredited by the Society of American Foresters or have completed a forestry curriculum approved by the Board. Each reciprocal application must be accompanied by the applicant's college transcript or copy of his/her diploma.

Each reciprocal applicant must have successfully passed a written examination equivalent to the Board's examination, administered by the granting state having a current reciprocity agreement with the Board.
