Section 27-110-4.9.1 - Establishment and Maintenance of Referred Lists

The MSPB Executive Director establishes and maintains Referred Lists necessary to provide a list of qualified candidates for positions in state service.

The appointing authorities shall notify the MSPB Executive Director as far in advance as possible, but a minimum of five (5) working days, of a job opening to be posted for recruitment. The MSPB Executive Director is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of appropriate lists for all state service position openings postings except as provided for in Section 4.2.9. Referred Lists are categorized in NeoGov as:

A. Regular and Promotional - state employees and the general public may apply;
B. Departmental Promotional Only - agency employees only may apply; and
C. Transfer - state employees only may apply.
