Section 27-100-7-117 - EXECUTED CONTRACTS

After the approval of a contract by the PSCRB, the contract may be executed by the agency and the vendor. The contract, including any accompanying exhibits, attachments, and appendices, is subject to the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983 and its exceptions. See Mississippi Code Annotated §§ 25-61-1et seq. and Mississippi Code Annotated § 79-23-1. Unless exempted from disclosure due to a court-issued protective order, a copy of this executed contract is required to be posted to the Department of Finance and Administration's independent agency contract website for public access at http://www.transparency.mississippi.gov. See Mississippi Code Annotated §§ 27-104-151et seq. The personal or professional services to be provided, the price to be paid, and the term of the contract shall not be deemed to be a trade secret, or confidential commercial or financial information. The executed contract must be identical to the proposed contract approved by the PSCRB or the contract will be deemed null and void. If a change is to be made to the contract after approval by the PSCRB but before execution, the change must be brought before the PSCRB for approval.
