Rule 24-2-5.2 - Waiver Issuance - Additional InformationA. The issuance of a time-limited waiver by DMH should, in no way, create an expectation of (or be construed as) a guarantee of acceptance of any third-party payer reimbursement in relation to the issued waiver and in no way relate to any professional credentialing requirements.B. Questions pertaining to the parameters of an issued waiver in relation to any third-party payer source reimbursement should be directed to the appropriate third-party payer source. Providers who want verification of reimbursement based on waiver issuance should contact the appropriate third-party payer source for requests of this nature. DMH is unable to answer questions regarding third-party payer source reimbursement which may arise in relation to a waiver issuance. Moreover, DMH does not assume responsibility for any third-party payer source reimbursement issues (or related third-party payer audit exceptions) which providers may experience from the use of an issued waiver.
