Rule 24-2-19.4 - Mobile Crisis Response Team Staffing RequirementsA. MCERTs must consist, at a minimum, of the following employees: 1. A Certified Peer Support Specialist Professional with specific roles and responsibilities as a member of the team.2. A Licensed and/or Credentialed Master's Level Therapist (Provisionally Licensed and/or Credentialed Therapists).3. A Community Support Specialist.4. A Crisis Coordinator for the agency provider's catchment or service area.5. At least one (1) employee must have experience and training in crisis response to each population served by the agency provider (MH, IDD, and/or SUD).B. Mobile Crisis Response staffing plans, including the number of full-time staff vs. the number of on-call staff, must be approved by DMH. Staffing numbers must be sufficient to respond in a team of two (2) members to multiple crises occurring simultaneously throughout the provider's service area as well as provide emergency and urgent care services within the required time frames, as outlined above, without delay. It is suggested that one (1) of the two (2) team members be a Certified Peer Support Specialist Professional (CPSSP) when feasible. However, in certain situations a one (1)-person team response may be sufficient. If a one (1)-person team responds, then the responding staff person must be a Licensed and/or Credentialed Master's Level Therapist (or a Community Support Specialist, under the clinical supervision of a Licensed and/or Credentialed Master's Level Therapist).
