The Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources is vested with the jurisdiction and authority over all marine aquatic life and is authorized to enact all regulations necessary for the protection, conservation or propagation of all shrimp, oysters, commercial fish and crabs in the waters under the territorial jurisdiction of the State of Mississippi, as provided for in Section 49-15-15 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated.
